| Alabaster Jars is the personal home page of Jackie Kestner. I am a Christian, though I am not in the ministry. I began the site after searching the web for information on women in the Bible. I located a few sites with a paragraph or two on more well known women in the Bible, but could not find a central location that featured all the women in the Bible. During the same period, I began meeting other women who knew little or nothing about women in the Bible. In fact, I met several people who had been told the women of the Bible could all be categorized by features such as "married", "reserved", "obedient", "quiet", "stay at home". I hoped a web site featuring every woman mentioned in the Bible would be helpful. I am not a web designer, which is reflected in the design of this site. I have used several services to create Alabaster Jars, and owe special thanks to Richard Deering, a photographer and designer, for creating the Alabaster Jars logo.
