Javorova, Ludmila On December 25, 1970 Jarvorova was ordained as a Catholic priest by Bishop Felix Davidek. Her ordination came during the communist regime which threatened the Roman Catholic Church in Czechoslovakia. For 20 years she served as Vicar General, until after the Communist regime lost power and the hidden church could once more come into the open. The Vatican invalidated her ordination, and the ordination of others, once the church was free to openly worship.
